This session focuses on understanding and responding to student elopement and wandering as a serious safety concern. Participants will explore common reasons students may elope, recognize risk factors and early warning signs, and learn practical prevention strategies, visual supports, and safety protocols. Through discussion and real-world scenarios, participants will also practice how to respond calmly, clearly, and consistently when elopement occurs You will receive 1.5 hours of Professional Development Credit for completing this module.
