  • Description: This session is designed for general and special education teachers working with grades 6 – 12 to explore planning and designing differentiated instruction for struggling and diverse learners. The focus will be on planning for differentiation of content and formative assessments, teaching methods, alternative student products, and groupings of students in order to aid students in accessing content standards. Participants need to bring ELA, Math, Science, and/or Social Studies curriculum maps or a unit of study from one of those contents to fully participate during the session.
