7-18-17 Guided Math for Co-Teachers- No Fee for Member Districts, $35 for Non Member Districts
This session will provide an opportunity for co-teaching teams to explore how different co-teaching models can be better utilized to meet the diversity of student needs in the general education classroom. Special Education/ELL/Intervention teachers will also examine how components of a Guided Math lesson may be utilized in a resource setting.
Participants will learn key components and classroom-tested strategies for developing, implementing, and managing a Guided Math model in their classroom. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on interactive small group activities and math learning center ideas through the lense of differentiation.
Participants will leave with an understanding of how a Guided Math framework will increase student proficiency and how existing curriculum and programs can be structured within the framework.
