6/16/2020 Promoting Academic Success in Students Affected by Trauma
Research shows that trauma exposure in childhood affects brain development. It is not a hopeless cause though. Research also shows that the negative effects of trauma can be reversed. This session will explore instructional strategies to help students achieve academic success. A brief overview of trauma will also be discussed as well as some non-instructional classroom strategies.
Note this is a hybrid learning opportunity: This training consists of three components. There is a self-paced learning component that will be sent via email to participants on June 9.
